Philadelphia PA: It has been a long 7 months since the last time that Eagles fans got see the Eagles play at Lincoln Financial Field which was on December 14 when the Eagles lost to Dallas Cowboys as the Eagles opened their preseason schedule as they hosted the Indianapolis Colts on a very hot Sunday afternoon in South Philadelphia. Chip Kelly named QB Mark Sanchez the starter for this game as Sam Bradford was not ready, DeMarco Murry was in uniform but sit out this game.

Colts won the toss & elected to receive to start the game, Both teams would not score on their opening drive, the 2nd drives is where the scoring begins as Andrew Luck & the Colts would score 1st on a 32 yard field goal by Adam Vinatieri for the early 3-0 lead. The Eagles would answer back on their 2nd drive when Mark Sanchez finds this year’s 1st round pick Nelson Agholor for 34 yard touchdown for his 1st NFL receiving touchdown. QB Matt Barkley would come into the game with 2:01 left in the 1st quarter and on his drive as QB, he would lead to a touchdown run by RB Kenyon Barner from 9 yards out for a 13-3 lead at the end of 1st quarter. As the 2nd quarter begin the Colts were driving down the field and Eagles recover Fumble that was caused by 2015 2nd round pick Eric Rowe and the Eagles would take over but could take advantage as Matt Barkley got his pass picked off. The Eagles were driving late in the 2nd quarter and they get stopped on downs with 6:23 left. Eagles would get it back and Cody Parkey would hit 40 yard FG for a 16-3 lead, Eagles would get more points to close out the 1st half as Kenyon Barner  would return a punt for 93 yards for touchdown and a 23-3 lead at halftime.

Eagles got ball to start 2nd half & Matt Barkley would lead the offence to start the 3rd quarter and on the 1st drive would lead to a 48 yard field goal by Cody Parkey to make it 26-3. Colts would add a touchdown by RB Josh Robinson to cut the lead to 26-10. “TEBOW TIME” made its Eagles debut when he came into the game with 7:08 left in the 3rd quarter, Loud crowd reaction of excitement to see what Tebow can do and he would look very rusty and at times hard to watch, but Tebow would have some moments as he had a run of 14 yards and then some nice passes to Eric Tomlinson. Cody Parkey would hit 40 yard FG in the 4th quarter to make it 29-10. Safety Ed Reynolds would have 2 interceptions in this game.  Tebow would score his first touchdown with the Eagles as he would score from 7 yards out with 2:07 left in the 4th quarter to make it 36-10 and that would turn out to be the final score as the Eagles defeat Indianapolis Colts 36-10.  The Eagles now get ready to practice with the Baltimore Ravens starting on Wednesday at the NovaCare Complex before they play each other on Saturday at 7PM at Lincoln Financial Field.

RB Josh Robinson had 10 rush attempts for 44 yards and 1 rush touchdown
WR Phillip Dorsett 4 catches for 51 yards
