Curry was set to be a free agent next month when the new league year opens up. This signing really help the Eagles as the new Defensive Coordinator Jim Schwartz is going to have his defense play a 4-3 setup as for the last 3 years under Chip Kelly, the defense played a 3-4 setup. The signing of Curry adds to the recent signing the Eagles have made with Lane Johnson, Brent Celek and Zach Ertz. The next player to get his deal would be Fletcher Cox.
