Philadelphia PA: Now that the 2015 NFL preseason came to an end on Wednesday, all NFL teams start to trim their rosters from 75 players down to 53 before the 4PM ET deadline on Saturday. On Friday the Philadelphia has traded QB Matt Barkley to the Arizona Cardinals for a conditional seventh-round draft pick in the 2016 NFL Draft, for it to become a seventh round pick Barkley needs to be on the Cardinals roster for 6 games this season.

Matt Barkley become the odd man out with the Eagles has he would lose a quarterback competition to Tim Tebow during the preseason, Barkley was went 27 of 52 for 351 yards with two interceptions in four preseason games.

The Eagles drafted Matt Barkley with the 98th picks in the fourth round of the 2013 NFL Draft out of USC which saw him become the all-time leading passer in Pac-12 Conference and USC history, throwing for over 12,000 yards and tossing 116 touchdowns.

During his 2 years with the Eagles, Barkley appeared in 4 games going 30 of 50 for 300 yards with 0 passing touchdowns with four interceptions.
