Philadelphia PA: As most of the NFL teams are getting ready to open their training camps next week, the Philadelphia Eagles continue to make news in the offseason to get their team better to get back to the playoffs as they get ready to open training camp on Saturday August 1. On Thursday the Eagles would sign former Villanova RB Kevin Monangai to a deal. The Move has not been made official by the team & the Eagles roster  is already set for the 90-man limit and they have to release a player to make room for Kevin Monangai. Last season for Villanova, Monangai rushed for 1,138 with 12 touchdown

During his 4 years at Villanova from 2011-2014, Kevin Monangai rushed for 3,167 yards for 29 touchdown on 618 attempts (5.13 average). He also caught 38 receptions for 274 yards and five receiving touchdowns in 44 games

With the addition of Kevin Monangai to the roster, it gives the Eagles 7 total running backs and they are DeMarco Murray, Ryan Mathews, Darren Sproles, Matthew Tucker, Kenjon Barner, Raheem Mostert, & Monangai
